Summary Artist's Brief

Poetry Project: To create poetry with the canal, as it was made, was used and is now as a focus, working with groups from the local community, and to distil from this a sequence of words.

Lettercutting project: To design a letter form appropriate to the location and the words, and to cut the selected words into the timber bracing beams in the canal cutting.
