Art Commission, Colmore Business District

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an artist to work within the Colmore Business District on a commission within the public realm that will be distinctive, high profile and linked to urban improvements.

The total budget for the work to be realised will be £10,000, this is to include consultation, design, installation.

Artists are invited to send an ‘Expression of Interest’, to include:

  • Brief outline of their approach (500 words max)
  • Statement and CV
  • Images of recent work (10 images as jpegs maximum)

Deadline: Monday 30th April 2012 (before 5.00pm).

Please ensure the information provided in your ‘Expression of Interest’ includes details of your relevant experience and past commissions and details of the approach and the medium you will utilise to realise the work. Following this submission phase, 4 artists will be shortlisted. Those shortlisted will receive a small design fee in order to develop and present their designs for the commission.
