Artist Commission: Lateral thinker wanted

Hiltingbury Community Association (HCA) are looking to appoint a forward thinking and dynamic artist to lead a public art project for the new premises, located within the Recreation ground at Hiltingbury, Chandler's Ford. The 1st phase is due to be completed April/May 2009
The appointed artist will:
- be required to deliver an innovative and creative public artwork, for outside or inside the premises and in the first instance to engage with the Community to develop suggestions and ideas for the proposed art work, using questionnaires, exhibition, presentations or other means of consultation.
- work in collaboration with the HCA photographer to create an exhibition which will communicate the project ideas, methodology, benefits and outcomes for the response of the general public of Hiltingbury community.
- present a concept proposal for the Hiltingbury Community Hall, inspired by the general public of the community, to the HCA committee. The proposal should be achievable within the stipulated budget and within the time framegiven.
