Call for artists - commission at East Bridgwater Community College, Bridgwater, Somerset.

Artist or Artist led partnerships experienced in creating work for the public realm required for exemplary new ‘Building Schools for the Future’ (BSF) school, East Bridgwater Community College, Bridgwater, Somerset.
The post will involve a short residency within the school and, alongside the architects, the creation of work that is integrated within the community and the new building.
The school has been working with lead artist facilitator Kathryn Hodgkinson to consider possible approaches to this commission, there are some suggested themes within the brief but it is expected that the artists will use these as a basis for forming their own responses during development time at the school.
The new building is currently at very early design stage and it is expected that the artist will work within the design teams taking a collaborative approach. There is a total budget of £49k.
