Camden Public Art Project: Commission of Metal Gates and Railings

Deadline: September 30, 2014, 12:00 pm

London Borough of Camden (LBC) is seeking an artistic metal worker to design, fabricate and install metal gates and side panels for the entrance to a new mixed tenure housing development in Gospel Oak.

LBC is seeking to commission a series of bespoke metal gates and railings for the front of a brand new development that will replace Bacton Low Rise Estate in Gospel Oak. They will occupy a prominent position in the neighbourhood and will be viewed by residents in many adjacent streets. The commissioned artwork will therefore need to appeal to a wide variety of stakeholders, contributing to a public space that can be appreciated and loved.

The first phase of the development is due for completion in September 2015 and it is expected that this commission will be installed during August 2015.

Total Budget for this project is £40,000

To receive the full project brief detailing the commission requirements, interested applicants should email: [email protected]  with Bacton Low Rise Public Art in the subject line and include  your name, full address, daytime telephone number and email address in the body of the email.
