Groundwork Creswell, Ashfield & Mansfield are working in partnership with Groundwork East Midlands’ Creative Regeneration Programme and Chesterfield Borough Council to look for an artist to create a permanent piece of work for a park in Chesterfield.We are aiming to develop an identity for the space, and hopefully make the most of artworks to encourage and entice people to use the park. A site has been proposed for the work, but we would be open to other suggestions.
We are receptive to functional or non-functional sculptural or land based work.
The community is extremely active and enthusiastic and it will be necessary to creatively engage with them.
Fee UKP11,425 to include all materials, expenses, production, installation etc.

Shortlisted candidates will then be awarded a bursary to develop their ideas and be requested to put in a project proposal outlining how they would approach the project.
