Commission for public art trail, Boscombe

Bournemouth Borough Council is commissioning a public art trail for Sea Road in Boscombe as part of a CABE Sea Change funded project.
We are inviting expressions of interest in creating a series of 7 high quality and robust, site-specific artworks to form an orientation feature and art trail from the popular sea front to Boscombe Precinct. Elements of LED lighting should be incorporated and consideration given to seating in the trail. The appointed artist will be expected to engage with the local community during the project’s concept / development stages. Total budget available will be £74,000
- Deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. on Thursday 3rd December ‘09
- Interviews will be held on 14th December 2009
- Installation is to be completed by 23rd July 2010
