Hodgkin Park Public Art Entrance Features
Newcastle City Council seek to appoint up to 2 professional practicing artists to develop in partnership with the local community 2 iconic entrance features in two identified locations within Hodgkin Park, Armstrong Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7TU.
The artwork must add quality, depth and character to the Park to help identify it as the major recreational area for the locality, invoking local historical context and providing a statement of optimism about the future.
To apply: You will need to register as a supplier on our eTendering website www.nepoportal.org. When the invitation to tender is issued, it will be listed under current opportunities with Newcastle City Council. Registration and use of the system is free.
Newcastle City Council will hold a supplier engagement day that will outline the process and help support artists with the application process: 27th February 2012.
