Seeking expressions of interest in Stokes Croft public realm commissions

Deadline: November 2, 2009, 5:00 pm

Bristol City Council and St Paul’s Unlimited are seeking expressions of interest from artists, designers or multidisciplinary teams for the development of a design for two key corner sites located in the Stokes Croft area of Bristol.

Two commissions will be awarded, with a maximum budget of £120,000 (£60k each site) to cover all fees, materials, construction costs and works/installation.

Proposals are sought for the design of the whole space, which may include hard and soft landscape work, and permanent/temporary art works, with an emphasis on high quality design and materials, and connections between users in the public realm.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 5pm, Monday 2 November. The planned completion date for the works is December 2010.
