Spitalfields Sculpture Prize

Artists across the UK are invited to submit proposals for the inaugural Spitalfields Sculpture Prize of £45,000.
The winning sculpture will be sited in Spitalfields' liveliest public space - Bishops Square - and will be seen by more than 70,000 people a week.
The competition is open to artists resident and working in the UK and who are graduates of a recognized art school or university.
The judges are looking for quality and innovation in the execution of an outdoor sculpture that will become a permanent part of the Spitalfields Public Art Collection. The winning sculpture will go on display in October 2010.
