Tunnel Vision
WHO: Artists and built environment professionals.
WHAT: Derby City Council seeks expressions of interest for artists to work as partners alongside a lead built environment practice or collaboration, for it’s Tunnel Vision project. Project includes conceptual designs for a seven under-bridges in Derby City Centre.
WHEN: March - April 2012; design options and delivery on site of a chosen option for a more pedestrian friendly 40 m length underpass along one side of the River Derwent - May - November 2012.
PAYMENTS: Total Budget £90k.
DETAILS: Artist-led collaboration at the outset, alongside Community Safety Partnership and young people as part of the Young Person’s Forum: process of engagement to be creatively documented and will form up to 30% proportion of the project budget.
APPLY: Expressions of interest for full collaboration must demonstrate previous experience in community engagement, successful delivery of creative urban enhancement projects and the proven capability to work to budget.
