University of South Wales, ATRiuM – Public Art Commission

Deadline: August 12, 2013, 5:00 pm

Artist Opportunity: University of South Wales, ATRiuM - The Faculty of Creative & Cultural Industries, Cardiff, Wales - Public Art Commission.

The University of South Wales has appointed EMP Projects to work with them to develop and manage a public art commission for the ATRiuM Campus, Cardiff.

The ATRiuM 1 & 2 is a facility that will cater to an increasing need for graduates in the creative and cultural industries and the growing needs of the financial and professional services sector in the Cardiff City’s enterprise zone.

This is an opportunity for a professional artist (or artist group) with a strong, international reputation to design and implement innovative and site-‐responsive artworks in the public realm. The permanent public artwork, or series of works and an associated engagement project should aid in the delivery of a memorable built environment and be distinctive to the ATRiuM, University of South Wales, and the wider City.

The overall budget for this commission is £68,000.00 (ex vat).
