The Tasting Garden Petition

Public Art Project Manager Suzanne Heath has launched a petition to save 'The Tasting Garden' by American artist Mark Dion. The petition seeks to stop the removal of the garden from the grounds of The Storey Creative Industries Centre, Lancaster.
The artwork was commissioned through artranspennine98 and the garden was built by volunteers. In 2009 the bronzes were stolen while the building was undergoing refurbishment, but the artwork was not covered by the Council's insurance policy. The council now proposes to remove the rest of the garden.
