4th This Is Not A Gateway Festival

Join the 4TH This Is Not A Gateway Festival at The Bishopsgate Institute as hundreds of people come together to tackle The Urban Industry and its Post Critical Condition through a number of critical strands. The two day event will also forge a new lexicon and also publish a list of demands and actions for the year ahead.

  • Sylvia McAdams Saysewahum discusses 'Idle No More: Indigenous Rights Revolution', with Amrit Wilson, Brenna Bhandar and UK Tar Sands Network
  • Artist Taxi Driver Mark McGowan will show his 1550 films in a dedicated cinema
  • Hamja Ahsan brother of Talha and Gary Mulgrew (infamous Enron "Natwest Three") discuss 'Prison Writing & Fighting Extradition'
  • Henrietta Williams exhibits 'The Secret Security Guard' an archive created when she worked undercover as an Olympics G4S Security Guard.
