Sound and light installation by Hans Peter Kuhn opens in Leeds Dark Arches

In an underground complex in Leeds, historically known as the Dark Arches, a new sound and light installation by Berlin artist Hans Peter Kuhn has opened.

Sound and light are beamed by directional speakers into the muddle of the city's Neville Street tunnel, one half of a pioneering £4,6m piece of linear public art. The other half is a pair of light sculptures, which will illuminate a previously run down stretch of road.
