'Larger scale working' is a one day introductory seminar for visual and applied artists providing insights and support into practical issues such as making proposals, responding to briefs, working within budgets, dealing with contracts, collaboration and stakeholders, copyright and other legal issues.

‘Larger scale working’ is the first in a series of seminars offered by experienced arts professionals Frances Lord and Belinda Holden who have joined forces to offer a comprehensive package of training, mentoring and guidance for visual and applied artists. The package includes seminars for artists interested in developing their practice towards working on larger-scale installations and interventions in the pubic realm, the built environment, within historic and contemporary settings; and individually tailored mentoring sessions. Follow up seminar topics will include healthcare; education; rural and urban outdoor settings; heritage; contracts and negotiation.
