A Little Patch of Ground, London

Wednesday 21st September 7pm and Friday 23rd September 7pm

A Little Patch of Ground, London

Now in its third year, A Little Patch of Ground is an inter-generational food growing and performance project, led by Encounters.

Since April a diverse group of local people aged 5-87 have been meeting weekly at Artsadmin's Toynbee Studios to grow a Permaculture inspired vegetable garden and eat together. Participants have also been exploring ideas about food, climate change, inter-dependence and our relationship with the natural world through storytelling, writing, drawing and photography.

These different threads will be woven together in an exhibition and multi-media performance presented by the participants, that tells an intimate and very human tale about what its like to live now at this time of ecological challenge and opportunity.
