N3 Housing, Art and Nature network event, Dorset

Thursday 28th November 2013

28th November 2013
9.30am to 1pm

Location: The Kingcombe Centre, Toller Porcorum, Dorchester, DT2 0EQ

We all want a high quality built environment with sustainable lifestyles and good provision of green space, that respects the local distinctiveness that makes Dorset special. The design and building of more sustainable housing remains a priority as part of this. But how do we make more green space for nature in housing development and engage residents in that process?

Using the N3 project for the Littlemoor Housing estate in Weymouth as just one example, the morning will be spent in discussing how provision for nature can be innovatively designed into new and redeveloped housing, and how local communities can be brought on board in order to create their own low cost, DIY green infrastructure.

This event it free but you must register in advance. To book a place please email the project co-ordinator, Alex Murdin: [email protected]

N3 Housing, Art and Nature is one of the N3: Network, Neighbourhood, Nature Networking events.
