"Off-grid": Haystack 08 with artist Grace Ndiritu
Tuesday 28th January 2014 at 7pm
Unit 73B, Regents Studios, 8 Andrews Road, London E8 4QN

Please come along for a talk and conversation with Grace Ndiritu, who for the first time shares her research and observations into alternative communties and nomadic lifestyles over the past 14 years. As an artist, she took the radical decision in 2012 only to spend time in the city when necessary, and to otherwise live in rural, alternative and often spiritual communities.

Her research took her to Thai and Tibetan Buddhist monasteries, permaculture communities in New Zealand, neo-tribal festivals such the 'Burning Man' in Nevada, a Hare Krishna ashram and the 'Findhorn' New Age community in Scotland. Grace will talk about life in alternative communities and the reality of living the dream.
