Grangegorman Public Art

Deadline: December 4, 2015, 9:00 am

Grangegorman Development Agency has launched ‘…the lives we live’ Grangegorman Public Art, marking the beginning of a new phase of major public arts opportunities within Dublin City’s newest urban quarter. An invitation booklet has been complied and provides introductory information on Grangegorman Public Art. It consists of six diverse but complementary art pathways. The briefs for each pathway are now available.

The Process

Each pathway has its own timescale. In general, applicants will be asked to engage with the qualities and features of the Grangegorman site, and its hinterland. Each pathway will also have its own selection panel and this panel’s role will be to make recommendations to the Public Art Working Group (PAWG). The PAWG will make the final selection and recommend to the GDA. The GDA will in turn enter into contracts to enable the commissioning of the selected proposal.

Applicants are initially required to complete an application form to register interest in any of the pathways.

Download the information booklet here for more information and the application form for expressions of interest from here.

Deadlines for each pathway are different, but for the first pathway is the 4th December 2015.
