Walking in the City

12th - 15th September

A four-day event exploring Bristol
12th - 15th September

How can walking and talking change our experience of the city?

The third event in the In The City Series is Walking in the City, a four-day event exploring Bristol through artist led walks, talks, discussions and an evolving exhibition. Drift with Phil Smith, re-awaken your senses with Simone Kenyon and howl into the night with Simon Whitehead. Then rest your feet at The Parlour Showrooms, where artists Sue Maude and Sarah Rhys construct a live map, and Cara Davies opens the space for playful exchange with a Friday symposium and a Sunday brunch artists talk.

Walking in the City is co-curated by PLaCE & The Showroom Projects. The symposium and talk are curated by Cara Davies (UOB researcher).
