Future Meetings
The next meeting will take place at Kingswood Civic Centre, High Street, Kingswood, South Glos on Thursday 18th April 2002. This half day event (commencing 1pm) will focus on Art and the Environment and investigate ways in which artists have collaborated with other professions to find environmental "solutions" and worked on projects within the context of environmentally sensitive / special locations. Trish McGrath, Arts Development Manager for South Glos District Council and artist Lorna Green will talk about the Avon Ring Road project, Lucy Milton from Helix Arts will talk about the Seen & Unseen projects which promote sustainable solutions to pollution focusing on the Quaking Houses project and Arts Consultant, Lisa Harty and Andrew Bell, AONB and Countryside Development Officer at Northern Devon Coast & Countryside Service will talk about the 'Art in the Landscape' initiative being developed in North Devon. The meeting will be chaired by Lee Corner. We are very grateful to South Gloucestershire who is hosting the event .
