Project description
A successful PROJECT application has been made by the Director of ISIS Waterside Regeneration in association with MADE for an artist to join the design team and develop an urban design scheme for the Warwick Bar area of Eastside in Birmingham. The design team will include an architect, ecologist and an artist and will progress an outline planning scheme to be registered for approval at the end of 2006. The project brings together a partnership of public private interests of British Waterways, AMEC Investments Ltd and Morley Fund Management. Project endorsement has been made also by the Arts Ambassador for Eastside Regeneration, a former urban designer with Birmingham City Council who promotes the arts at the heart of this regeneration scheme and the ability of both ISIS and MADE to achieve a viable scheme.
