Privacy Statement

The Public Art Online website and the PROJECT – engaging artists in the built environment website are both managed by ixia.

ixia took over Public Art Online from Public Art South West (PASW) in December 2010. The following information was produced by PASW for the content which it commissioned, and is subject to review by ixia. The purpose of this privacy statement is to inform you that information about you will be collected and how that information will be used.

What Information is Collected?

These sites each offer a separate free subscription email service to inform you of new updates to the site. You will be asked to register your contact details if you wish to receive this service for either or both of the sites.

The software on these websites uses various techniques to collect information about visitors. These include recording your navigation to, and around the site in order to analyse visitor usage for statistical purposes.

Our software also uses cookies, files containing information about you and your use of the website which are stored in your computer. Our software uses this information when you revisit the site to personalise your visit. You can prevent these files from being stored on your computer by changing the settings on your web browser. This may, however, affect your experience of this website.

How This Information is Used

The subscription email services will be used to inform you of updates to these websites. It is unlikely that mailings will be more than twelve a year for each site. If, at a later date, PASW wishes to promote other public art information via the email services, you will be asked if you want to remain on the eMailing list. You have the opportunity to cancel your subscription(s) at any time.

The information gathered via the site software is analysed to track how the site is being used by visitors in order to help Public Art South West to improve and develop the structure and content of the sites.

Public Art South West will not pass on any personal information about you to third parties.

This statement applies only to Public Art South West's websites at www.publicartonline.org.uk and www.project-awards.org.uk. Links to other websites within this site are not covered by this policy.
