Commission opportunities in Bessbrook & Camlough

Deadline: September 5, 2014, 9:00 am

Newry and Mourne District Council (NMDC) is calling for expressions of interest for two new public artworks, from experienced and suitably qualified artist(s), or design team. The total budgets available for the artworks is £47,000 (including VAT) for the Bessbrook piece and £37,000 for the Camlough piece.

NMDC through its Ring of Gullion Landscape Partnership Scheme has been successful in its application to take part in the Building Peace through the Arts Programme – Re-Imaging Communities. This project is part-financed by the European Union’s Programme for Peace and Reconciliation (PEACE III) managed by the Special EU Programmes Body; the Arts Council of Northern Ireland; and the International Fund for Ireland.

The deadline for receipt of Expressions Of Interest and outline concepts will be strictly 5th September. It is advised that late submissions will not be accepted.
