The shifting sound track of archive samples and field recordings is a transformative presence in Geoffrey Farmer’s exhibition, Lets Make The Water Turn Black. Curating Sound combines discussion and off-site performance to address sound within and beyond the gallery. It is responding to a resurgent interest in curating durational sound-works.

Speakers include Lina Džuverović (Artistic Director, Calvert 22), Mark Harwood (Editor, Penultimate Press) and composer Jeremy Peyton-Jones (Senior Lecturer Music, Goldsmiths).
