UP Projects at the Mayor's Thames Festival, 10th-11th September
Four touring commissions: including a large scale light installation by Tim Etchells on the pier next to the Oxo Tower; a live, holographic performance inside Tai Shani’s Orpheum Theatre next to the British Film Institute; an interactive light box by Dan Coopey; and Postapocadylic Circuits - a triumphant Technicolor vision of a post-rave dawn - by Jim Woodall & Brian Random outside Tate Modern will all feature in the Mayor's Thames Festival on 10th/11th September.
Thames Festival, Southbank, 10th-11th September 2011: 12noon-10pm
Tai Shani performances: 2-4pm; 6-8pm each day.
These commissions are curated and produced by UP Projects in partnership with the Shangri-La Glastonbury team and are touring to a series of festivals over two years including Glastonbury and Shambala, funded by Arts Council England.
