As part of the renovations of the Royal Terrace Gardens in Torquay, Torbay Council are looking for an artist to produce work for an existing historic grotto found within the lower wall of the gardens. The grotto is currently empty and it will be the role of the artist, through research and dialogue with the design team, to produce work that will create a moment of delight and surprise for visitors to the gardens.
