Innovative, imaginative and experienced artists or artist teams wanted for large scale external public art commission, budget £100,000.
Crest Nicholson and The Vale of Glamorgan Council invite applications from artists, artist teams or creative architecture practices for an important flagship commission in Penarth, South Wales. From initial applications, artists will be selected for interview, briefing and site visits with three selected to go on and develop initial responses outline concepts for a fee of £1000.
Penarth Heights is a prestigious new residential development on an outstanding site overlooking Cardiff Bay. Inspirational artists or arts partnerships with relevant experience are invited to apply, this will be the first key commission on the site and it is a high profile opportunity.
Selected artists will be interviewed in May with a commission deadline for mid 2014. The budget is £100,000.
