Barnsley Council seek public art development consultant

Barnsley Council is seeking a consultant, consultant team or creative company to manage and deliver a programme of public art development, to be carried out between April 2014 and March 2015. The programme includes:
- Managing the commissioning and installation of five new pieces of public art to be created in Barnsley Town Centre. These will be four gateway pieces enhancing the visitor experience to the Town centre and one piece in Barnsley Pals Centenary Square commemorating World War One.
- The development of a public art strategy for Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, including workshops and initiatives to raise awareness, understanding and support for public art.
- Working in partnership with the Council and Yorkshire Sculpture Park to develop an Arts Council - Grants for Arts application for a loans scheme between the two organisations.
