Boundary Call for Artists

Aune Head Arts is seeking a visual artist for a Devon-based arts project, Boundary, to take place in June 2009.
The artist will work in two schools on Dartmoor: Princetown Primary School and Shaugh Prior Village School. The artists will work with each school to create their own boundary marker(s) for the school property/grounds.
This will be part of a project exploring the notion of boundaries. Each school group will spend some time on Dartmoor, exploring physical and metaphorical boundaries, and concepts around land ownership and protection.
It is important that applicants have experience of working in schools, have strong visual arts skills in any appropriate medium and are available to work for eleven days in June, not necessarily consecutively.
The total fee for 11 days work in June 2009 is UKP2,000
Interviews will be held in Devon on Thursday, April 2, 2009.
