ixia has taken over the ownership and management of Public Art Online from Arts Council England. The design and content of the website are currently being reviewed.

CUBE open call for submissions

Deadline: October 2, 2009

CUBE is delighted to be announcing its annual submission competition. Now in its third year - artists, architects and designers are welcome to submit work that responds to our theme of the urban built environment.

Selected entries will be exhibited at CUBE with the overall winner receiving a residency in the gallery in 2010 and £1000 - two runners up will receive £250 each.

This year's selectors are Leo Fitzmaurice, Sans Facon, CUBE Creative Director Jane Anderson and last year's winner Andrea Booker.

To apply please send a CD Rom with a selection of work (no more than six images) please ensure that it is a standard package such as powerpoint, or standard image files such as jpegs. If we cannot open your files your application will not be accepted. Please do not send originals.

For video submissions please send a DVD with accessible menu. Please do not send exhibition versions, which cannot be navigated.

A £15 submission fee is required for each application. The application fee is £10 for CUBE members, see website for details. Please send cheques or postal orders payable to the University of Salford.
