Call for Artists - 8 new Bristol Commission Opportunities

Deadline: June 8, 2015, 9:00 am

The Bristol 2015 Neighbourhood Arts Team has announced commissioning opportunities for artists and creatives for eight projects in Bristol neighbourhoods. Each commission is for £10,000 and the deadline for proposals is 9am on the 8th of June, 2015.

Each area is calling for something different, for example Avonmouth & Kingsweston are seeking to recycle local folklore, Filwood, Knowle and Windmill Hill are encouraging active playspaces, whilst Greater Brislington are looking to reactivate St Anne’s Wood for local residents and families.

Want to know more?

The Neighbourhood Arts Team will be hosting a Creative Drop-in session on Tuesday the 12th of May between 5pm and 7.30pm. This is an opportunity to talk directly to the Team and local advisers, and mingle with other creatives.

If you’re interested in responding to a brief but can’t make this date, please you can get in touch with the team direct via [email protected]. The NAP Team are happy to answer any questions.

The commission areas identified are;
