Please find below an Artist's Brief outlining an opportunity at the Old Bowling Green Project on Brandon Hill in Bristol city centre.
An artist will be commissioned to develop and install a new artwork within the Old Bowling Green in conjunction with Friends of Brandon Hill (the park user group) and with the involvement of local schools. This is part of the project to revitalize the area funded by Community Spaces.
The aim of the project is to create a lasting artwork within the Old Bowling Green space that will continue to be enjoyed and meaningful in years to come.
Deadline for applications: 5pm on Friday 18th January 2013.
Budget: The budget for the project is £6,500. This figure includes artist fees, expenses, materials and installation time and material costs.
