VELOCITY is pleased to announce its first major commission for artists.
VELOCITY is seeking to commission an artist, or team of creative practitioners, to realise a new permanent artwork on the approaches to, or in the vicinity of, the Emirates Arena and Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in the east end of Glasgow. A programme of community-hosted activity is an integral element of the commission to inform the development process and final outcome.
Closing date for submissions: 1pm, Thursday 17th January 2013.
