Call to Artists – EOI for Grandview Aquatic Centre

Award to Selected Artist: $310,000
Open to all Professional Artists and Artist Teams
Expressions of interest (EOI) are invited from artists interested in creating artwork that will present itself as iconic three dimensional forms exterior to the building at two entrances, with an opportunity to experience their connection through the building's interior, including opportunities for elevated viewing from a bridge passing over the pools. The experience of this unfolding journey expresses the artist's notion of flow, transition and transformation.
Budget is $310,000 inclusive of all costs. Eligibility is open to professional artists/artist teams, regionally, nationall and internationally.
An information meeting for artists will be held at the Surrey Arts Centre, 13750-88th Avenue, on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm.
