Open For Expressions of Interest

Deadline: February 19, 2010, 1:00 pm

Arts of Place is now open for expressions of interest for the two programmes:

  • Temporary Commission Programme
  • Professional Mentoring Programme.

City Park is the signature project of the Bradford City Centre Masterplan. With a Mirror Pool at its heart, it will be an iconic landmark for Bradford and a foyer to a new City Centre. The completed project will result in a six-acre park for Bradford which will play a key role in bringing people from different communities and backgrounds together and repositioning Bradford as an ambitious, confident and vibrant city.

The Arts of Place, developed by Beam, is an innovative multi-disciplinary approach to place-making that combines the arts, learning and public engagement, and places the arts and artists at the centre of regeneration. This programme is funded by Arts Council England, Yorkshire - Grants for the Arts, and Bradford Council, and is contributing to Bradford City of Film.

The overall aim of the Arts of Place project is to facilitate Bradford Council’s cultural aspirations for City Park by linking with Bradford City of Film and by embedding the arts, learning, and stakeholder engagement.
