Public art commission for Heartlands

Deadline: December 17, 2008

Kerrier District Council Landscape Architects seek expressions of interest, from artists / makers, for a range of public artworks within the Pool village element of Heartlands.

The commissions include :

  1. Bickford’s Wall (UKP50,000)  work to be integrated in the wall alongside main approach to the Park entrance
  2. Village Green screens (UKP36,000)  four metal screens, alongside main footpath & integrated with garden              
  3. Village Green ‘seams’ (UKP15,000)  variety of workset within the surface of the new Village Green area
  4. Pool crossroads (UKP55,000)  landmark artwork at the centre of Pool, signposting Heartlands
  5. Village Green central water feature (UKP45,000)

 * all budgets include all artists’ fees

Commissions 1& 2 to be awarded following presentation of shortlisted artists’ proposals and commissions 3,4 & 5 will be awarded directly to selected applicants

Delivery of chosen artworks : July 2009 (tbc)
