Public art commission for Heartlands

Kerrier District Council Landscape Architects seek expressions of interest, from artists / makers, for a range of public artworks within the Pool village element of Heartlands.
The commissions include :
- Bickford’s Wall (UKP50,000) work to be integrated in the wall alongside main approach to the Park entrance
- Village Green screens (UKP36,000) four metal screens, alongside main footpath & integrated with garden
- Village Green ‘seams’ (UKP15,000) variety of workset within the surface of the new Village Green area
- Pool crossroads (UKP55,000) landmark artwork at the centre of Pool, signposting Heartlands
- Village Green central water feature (UKP45,000)
* all budgets include all artists’ fees
Commissions 1& 2 to be awarded following presentation of shortlisted artists’ proposals and commissions 3,4 & 5 will be awarded directly to selected applicants
Delivery of chosen artworks : July 2009 (tbc)
