Spinney Hill Community Shelter - Public Art Commission
Leicester City Council wish to commission a public artist to work with local communities to design, fabricate and install a new community shelter to be located in Spinney Hill Park in Leicester. The commission is to design, fabricate and install a community shelter for Spinney Hill Park, creating an innovative artist-led high quality structure. The work is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and will be project managed by Leicester City Council. Artists are invited to submit proposals as part of an open, two stage, selection process. The deadline for applications for stage one of the process is 9am on 14 January 2013.
