St Mary’s Thomastown, Public Art Commission 2011
St. Mary’s National School Thomastown Co Kilkenny wishes to commission an artist(s) to make a permanent artwork (preferably outdoors) that makes a strong visual statement about the school and that resonates and engages with the children, wider school community, cultural context and physical environment. Selection will be made by way of a two-stage open submission and up to four short-listed artists will be invited to develop detailed proposals.
The budget for the commission is €25,000.
