Tampa International Airport recently broke ground on the largest construction project in its history. They are now inviting artists to be part of their plans to craft a unique experience for millions of travelers, as they endeavor to elevate the travel experience through art.
Eligability: Open to all professional artists/artist teams who:
- demonstrate experience in public art and working with public agencies
- have completed a commission or sold, at a minimum, one piece of artwork at a value of at least $15,000
- can commit to installation by September 2017
Budget: $3.5M
Location: Tampa International Airport
Important dates:
- 14th August 2015 - Artist Outreach Conference; can be attended on-line or in person at Tampa International Airport
- 17th August 2015 - Call will be launched via CaFÉ
- 14th September 2015 - Deadline; applications close at 11:59 p.m. in Mountain Time Zone on deadline date.
- September 2017 - Artwork installation complete.
