Wiltshire Council Arts Service: Artist or creative partnership required for art and design in the public realm project

Deadline: June 24, 2013, 12:00 pm

Artist or creative partnership required for art and design in the public realm project

Wiltshire Council Arts Service is seeking to commission an artist or creative partnership to integrate the work of artists into a small development in Westbury Leigh or in its vicinity. The budget for the project is £6,380, but there is potential to increase this through fundraising and create a larger project. The appointed artist will engage and consult with the local community and recommend best approaches to an accessible and high quality creative arts programme for Westbury Leigh’s local community to engage with their local environment. The final scheme will be agreed with the council’s arts team, who will support the appointed artist in whatever way it can to fundraise for a larger project.

The brief and accompanying documents are available on the arts blog (See below). The deadline is 12noon on Monday 24 June 2013. Please email [email protected] with any queries.
