Beam, the organisation who work for the understanding and improvement of the public realm, have been appointed as the public art manager for Markham Vale; a 200 acre commercial development site just off Junction 29a of the M1 near Bolsover.
The site is a redevelopment of the former Markham colliery and Beam will be working with Derbyshire County Council and Henry Boot Developments Ltd over the next 3 years to develop a programme of public art for the site. This work builds on our successful 'percent for art' work in the Chesterfield area over the last 6 years.
