Entropa, a new art installation on display at the European Council building in Brussels has angered EU members.
The eight tonne piece resembling a snap out modelling kit depicts stereotypes of each EU nation - including Bulgaria as a toilet, Romania as a Dracula theme-park and France as a country on strike.
The Czech Republic, which holds the EU presidency, thought the work had been a collaboration between artists from all 27 European nations, however the installation turned out to be entirely the work of Czech artist David Cerny and two associates.
