  • Max Farrell, Partner, Farrells; Project Leader, The Farrell Review of Architecture and the Built Environment

Areas of discussion

  • What has the response from Government been to the recommendations of the Farrell Review?
  • What has been the impact of the merger of CABE with the Design Council? How effectively does it function in its new form?
  • Are new developments sufficiently sustainable, resilient and lasting?
  • Are we doing well enough at 'place-making'? If not, what needs to change?
  • How effective is public participation in decision-making on the built environment?
  • How should local needs and desires be reconciled with regional or national priorities?
