Landmark Sculpture for Norwich

International artists Bruce Gernand, Kenny Hunter, Mariele Neudecker and Lucy Skaer are exhibiting their proposals for a new public sculpture for Norwich, in a competition organised by Sculpture for Norwich and cultural agency Futurecity to celebrate the respected ‘Norwich School of Artists’.
The artists represent the broad range of sculptural practice in the 21st century. Their proposals for conceptual works, vitrines, environments and sculptural forms, present challenging and engaging public works that chime with the radical nature of the Norwich School.
The exhibition of the artists' proposals is on show at The Forum in Norwich City Centre from Monday 5th September until Sunday 11th September 2011. Sculpture for Norwich and Futurecity have invited a distinguished selection panel to select the winning proposal in October 2011.
