ixia has taken over the ownership and management of Public Art Online from Arts Council England. The design and content of the website are currently being reviewed.

Public Art, Cultural Well-Being and the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) events 2013

ixia has organised a second series of three free briefing events on the relationship between the provision of public art and the inclusion of cultural well-being within the NPPF. The events will take place in London on Monday 4th November, in Wakefield on Monday 25th November and in Birmingham on Monday 9th December.

The key speakers are: Ian Dove QC, planning barrister from No5 Chambers; Charles Landry, international authority on the use of imagination and creativity in urban change; and Michael Chang, Planning Policy Officer for the Town and Country Planning Association (TCPA).

The briefing events are for arts officers, public art officers, planners, artists, curators, developers and arts funders.

The events are free of charge.

The events are being supported by Eversheds LLP, SGH Martineau LLP and No5 Chambers.
