Situations to produce two major public art programmes

Situations, the commissioning and research programme based at the University of the West of England in Bristol, has been appointed to produce two new public art programmes of international significance.
The Sea Change public art programme for Weston-super-Mare, funded by CABE, will be initiated in July 2010 and will be co-curated by Situations Director Claire Doherty and Theresa Bergne of Field Art Projects.
Doherty has also been appointed as Curatorial Director of the Bjørvika public art programme at Oslo Harbour. This substantial programme will be initiated in 2011.
