UP Projects reached their Crowd Funding Campaign Target

UP Projects officially beat their target of $18,000 dollars for the Floating Cinema Crowd Funding Campaign late last night - on Tuesday 11th December!
They want to say a very special thank you to all of you who contributed, and also to those who took the time to distribute the campaign through your networks. They have been really overwhelmed and touched by the huge show of support this project has received.
UP Projects are really looking forward to welcoming you aboard next summer!
Now the challenging work begins with building the boat and getting the exciting Extra-Ordinary programme finalised for the launch next June. They have also just been awarded a grant from the City Bridge Trust to support our Education Programme which will help our work on the waterways reach many more people. News of that and more will follow in the New Year and don't forget to keep checking Nina Pope and Karen Guthrie's Floating Cinema blog for up-to-date news of the boat build and their research on the canals and off!
