A Million Minutes
Date uploaded: May 8, 2013
Artists, performers, writers, makers and musicians are bringing their practise and processes to the streets in Archway and Finsbury Park, London, for A Million Minutes. So far these have included flying mothers, charity shop poetry, human clocks, singing traffic wardens, hidden responsibilities of local people and rarely glimpsed places.
Collecting, making, testing, sharing and showing are happening in public as new work is developed with local people and their everyday experiences of these neighbourhoods over two years (approximately one million minutes). Please use the link below to explore what the artists have been doing on the projects pages, see the diary for future events and to get involved, and sign up for the mailing list on the contact page.
A Million Minutes is an Islington Council project supported by Arts Council England and produced by AIR at Central Saint Martins College of Arts & Design.
